If we could throw Red Rock West and Wild at Heart in a blender, it might turn out to be one passable thriller. On its own, though, Red Rock West is an all-around mediocre Cage vehicle. Even Dennis Hopper can’t save this one.
#19 - Red Rock West
We’re not even going to bother making a call on this one since there are so many good and bad elements at play in this movie. Nicolas Cage stars as a drifter who poses as a hit man in Red Rock, Wyoming. Hijinks ensue. This could be a good thriller (especially considering that Dennis Hopper and JT Walsh co-star), or an incomprehensible Zandalee-esque mess.
